The former residential town Weilburg with its impressive baroque castle is located on a hill which is surrounded by the Lahn river. Over centuries, Weilburg was the residence of the Nassau noble family which is the origin of today's Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The beautiful cityscape is characterized by the baroque castle, the historic old town, the bow of the Lahn, the unique tunnel ensemble, lime alleys and forests. Besides active natural experiences with a canoe or bike on and along the Lahn, the city offers cultural highlights such as the "Weilburger Schlosskonzerte" music concerts.
As our guests, you will get our „Guten Morgen Post“ at breakfast. In this morning post you can find the weather forecast, a small brainteaser and tips for trips in Weilburg and its neighborhood. Of course, we would be glad to advice you personally and help you plan your day - just ask us.
